A community group co-convened by local activists, June Bullivant and Suzette Meade, are working with a growing number of residents who are appalled that a developer seems to be getting a dream run from NSW Liberal MP for Parramatta Dr Geoff Lee.
Ed Blakely, Greater Sydney Commissioner responsible for Western Sydney also caused consternation to the Save Moxham Quarry group when he did a spectacular backflip with pike, to vote in support of a high-density rezoning of the Moxham Quarry site, when just 24 hours previously he had told June Bullivant, Co-convenor of the Moxham Quarry group, at a GSC community engagement event in Parramatta that he “felt strongly about Moxham Quarry being vital for western Sydney’s green grid.”
